Caledger is a personal expense tracking and financial insights app designed to help users organize transactions, import transaction CSV files, review spending, and understand recurring expenses.
Caledger processes your financial data on your device. If you enable iCloud synchronization, your app data is stored in your private Apple iCloud / CloudKit account. Javoft Ltd. does not receive, process, or store your financial data on company-operated servers.
Caledger does not use a Javoft backend, AI services, AWS Lambda, third-party analytics, advertising services, or developer-operated logging services. Your financial data is not used to train AI models.
Depending on the features you use, Caledger may process the following information locally on your device:
This information is processed on your device and is not transmitted to Javoft Ltd., an AI provider, or a Javoft-operated backend.
CSV parsing, transaction categorization, validation, duplicate detection, and review are performed on your device. Caledger does not upload imported CSV files or parsed financial information to Javoft Ltd., an AI provider, or another transaction-processing service.
Caledger may create a temporary local working copy of a selected CSV file while parsing it. The app deletes this working copy after processing. Transactions you choose to save are stored with the rest of your Caledger data on your device and, if iCloud synchronization is enabled, in your private iCloud storage.
If you enable iCloud synchronization, Caledger uses Apple iCloud / CloudKit to synchronize app data across devices signed in to your Apple account. The synchronized data is stored in private CloudKit storage associated with your Apple account and counts toward your iCloud storage.
Synchronization occurs between your device and Apple services. Javoft Ltd. does not operate an intermediary synchronization server and does not access or maintain a separate copy of your private CloudKit records.
Apple's handling of iCloud and CloudKit data is governed by Apple's terms and privacy practices. You can learn more at Apple's Privacy Policy.
You can stop future synchronization by turning off Sync with iCloud in Caledger's Settings. Turning synchronization off does not automatically delete data already stored in iCloud.
If you contact Javoft Ltd. for support, we receive the email address, message, and any attachments or other information you choose to provide. Support correspondence is processed by the email provider used by Javoft Ltd.
Please avoid including financial statements, account numbers, or other sensitive financial information in support messages unless it is necessary for your request.
Information processed by Caledger is used to provide the features you choose to use, including:
Caledger does not use your data for advertising, tracking, behavioral profiling, marketing, third-party analytics, or AI model training.
Javoft Ltd. does not sell or rent your personal information. Because Javoft Ltd. does not receive your Caledger financial data, we do not share that data with advertisers, analytics providers, AI providers, or data brokers.
Apple processes information required to provide iCloud and CloudKit services under Apple's own terms and privacy practices. Apple may also process device or service diagnostics according to your Apple settings. Caledger does not include a separate third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or logging service.
Support correspondence may be disclosed if required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, Javoft Ltd., or others.
Your financial data remains on your device until you delete it through Caledger or remove the app and its local data.
If iCloud synchronization is enabled, deleting Caledger from one device may not by itself delete data stored in iCloud or synchronized to another device. You can delete records through Caledger and manage Caledger's stored iCloud data through Apple's iCloud storage settings where available.
Javoft Ltd. has no separate server-side copy of your financial data to delete.
Support correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations. You may contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any information we are legally required to retain.
Caledger relies on the security protections provided by iOS and your device for locally stored information. Data synchronized through iCloud is protected by Apple's iCloud and CloudKit security controls and your Apple account.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device and Apple account, including by using a device passcode and appropriate Apple account security settings.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We encourage you to keep your device software current and protect your device and Apple account credentials.
Caledger is not directed to children under the age of 13. Javoft Ltd. does not knowingly collect personal information from children through Caledger.
Javoft Ltd. generally cannot access financial information stored in Caledger because that information remains on your device or in your private iCloud storage.
You may contact us to ask whether we hold personal information about you through support correspondence, or to request access, correction, or deletion of that information, subject to applicable law.
If you have a concern about our privacy practices, please contact us first so we can review it. Canadian users may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Caledger's features or privacy practices change. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
